A 23-year-old soldier is dead after drowning in a Louisville lake.
According to FOX41.com, officials say it’s a swimming accident and not a boating accident.
If a flotation device had been worn, officials say this Louisville drowning could have been avoided.

The Tennessean reported that a Nashville fire at a senior citizens center forced the Tennessee fire and burn accident victims outside on a cold night.
There were no Nashville fire and burn injuries, although the Tennessee fire left water and smoke damage on the seventh floor of the building. Police said the fire was found in a trash bin between floors in the 16-story building.

Four people died of Kentucky fire and burn injuries in a blaze Tuesday, including two children, reported the Lexington Herald-Leader. A mobile home caught fire and officials said the fire didn’t appear to be suspicious, but rather could have been sparked by a heater.
Authorities were unsure how the Kentucky fire and burn injuries victims were related, though they were a man and a woman with two children, a boy and a girl.
