A recent Tennessee truck accident left a local truck driver seriously injured, according to the Crossville Chronicle.
The man was driving his truck down the interstate when he failed to slow down for at stopped tractor-trailer in front of him.
Rescuers spent close to an hour trying to extract the driver from the cab.
The driver was taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the Tennessee auto accident.
Authorities are still investigating the Tennessee truck accident.

The Lexington Herald-Leader reported that a Kentucky car accident over the weekend took the life of a local woman.
The Kentucky auto accident victim was driving her car down the road when she tried to make a left turn. A tractor trailer traveling in the opposite direction swerved to avoid rear-ending another vehicle and struck the woman’s car on the driver’s side.
The woman died at the scene of the Kentucky auto accident.
