A local officer suffered some injuries after a recent Knoxville car accident earlier this week, according to WBIR.
The officer was in a construction zone when a construction worker stopped traffic. A pickup truck then drove into the back end of the police car, causing the Knoxville auto accident.
The police officer experienced some back pain after the Tennessee auto accident and was taken to the hospital to have it checked out.

WAVE 3 reported that a Kentucky truck accident Sunday morning took a man’s life.
The man was driving down the Interstate when he lost control of his car, spun around, and hit a tractor-trailer in a nearby lane.
After rescuers extracted him from the vehicle, he was taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries suffered in the Kentucky truck accident.
He was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.
