Nashville Car Accident Injures Seven, Including Four Children
Seven people were transported to a Nashville area hospital Sunday evening following a head-on collision involving two vehicles.
Metro Police state the driver of a White Toyota Camry had been pulled over earlier in the evening and evaded police as the officers approached the vehicle. Around 7:15 p.m., Nashville emergency crews responded to a wreck involving the same Toyota Camry.
Witnesses say the “jaws of life” were used to extract at least one of the 4 children and 2 adults inside a Ford Explorer after the Camry swerved, striking the SUV head-on. All 6 were transported to a near-by Nashville Hospital. The extent of their injuries has not yet been reported.
The driver of the Camry reportedly suffered life threatening injuries.
