How Can We Help?

Allan J. Parker

"As an attorney, it is often that your clients come to you during a devastating time in their life. It is my passion to help each client through their dark time and to fight for the rightful compensation for those injured and/or disabled at no fault of their own.”

A.J. grew up all over the world as the son of an Air Force Serviceman. He knew he wanted to be an attorney since he was a young child. He has a passion for helping others navigate through difficult situations and was inspired when a close family member was assisted in recovering compensation for an injury in their time of need.

After graduating from Davidson Academy in Nashville, Tennessee, A.J. attended Carson-Newman University where he was a football letterman. He received a Bachelor of Arts in political science with an emphasis on law and policy. After graduation, A.J. attended Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law and was frequently named on the deans list and was also named Best Advocate in the 2017 Honest Abe Mock Trial Competition. During law school, A.J. clerked at a boutique law firm in Nashville which focused solely on construction litigation with clients mainly consisting of general contractors, subcontractors, developers, architects, engineers, and material suppliers.

Prior to joining Hughes & Coleman, A.J.’s general practice background included  law experience in business transactions, estate planning, criminal matters, and construction law. Additionally, he has experience with alternate dispute resolution, construction defect litigation, contractor licensing defense, bond claims, disadvantaged business enterprises, small business matters, employment law and bankruptcy litigation. A.J. is committed to zealously advocating for his clients to help them obtain maximum compensation for their injury and/or disability.

Mr. Parker is a member of the State Bar of Tennessee and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts of Tennessee. He has experience in General Sessions, Circuit and Chancery Courts. He also has experience in arbitration with the American Arbitration Association and the Federal Administrative Court system.

A.J. lives in Nashville and is an avid sports fan. In his free time he enjoys watching and attending sporting events, fishing, playing golf and spending time with his niece and nephew.
