How Can We Help?

JOSEPH SHARP

“Law is a noble profession and a high calling. From Cicero to SCOTUS, lawyers have always been behind the scenes making civilization work, making history happen, changing society, and bringing justice to the injured and those in need.”
Joe’s past experience representing businesses and insurance companies gives him insight into the tactics defendants often use to avoid paying injured parties what they deserve. Joe fights hard for his clients and works hard to get them the best outcomes for their claims and the most compensation for their injuries.

Joe Brown has been a life-long student of history. He graduated summa cum laude with a degree in History from the University of Kentucky and his work won the prestigious Thomas D. Clark Award for best American History thesis in 2013. During college, Joe utilized his historical research skills as a Park Ranger at Mammoth Cave National Park.

In his study of history, Joe learned how vital the legal profession has been to every society that values justice and liberty. Joe’s zeal for justice for the injured drew him to the practice of law and he enrolled at the University of Kentucky College of Law, graduating in 2016. During law school, Joe was a law clerk at Garmer & Prather, PLLC in Lexington, KY. Afterwards, Joe practiced defense-side civil litigation at English, Lucas, Priest & Owsley, LLP in Bowling Green, KY. Joe joined Hughes & Coleman’s litigation team in 2018 and now uses his talents to help clients get justice for their injuries.

In addition to his zeal for helping those in need, Joe is passionate about education, public speaking, and community service. Joe teaches classes on law at the Western Kentucky University Society of Lifelong Learning and also teaches Sunday school at Burton Memorial Baptist Church where he is a member. Joe loves to spend his free time with his wife and daughter, and he enjoys horseback riding, reading, and kayaking.
