How Can We Help?

Stacy Hullett Ivey

“I’ve seen clients whose lives will never be the same, by no fault of their own. I have two goals in representing clients: return the client to his/her status quo and get proper compensation for my client’s pain and suffering.”
Stacy has an incredibly diverse practice background. Over the course of her career, she’s represented people injured in car accidents, by medical malpractice and defective products, while on the job, in nursing homes and by aggressive dogs. No matter what the situation, Stacy is equipped with the knowledge to handle it.

Stacy was raised by tobacco and cattle farmers in Warren County, Kentucky. Growing up on a farm, Stacy was never a stranger to hard work. She was taught the importance of a devoted work ethic early on and applied this wholeheartedly as she continued through life.

For her undergraduate, Stacy attended Western Kentucky University, where she earned a B.A. in 1997. During her time at WKU, Stacy remained as active and involved as possible. Some of her bigger commitments included serving as the Membership Education Vice President and Rush Chairman of her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi, and showing horses on WKU’S Equestrian Team. Stacy was named the honorary title of Reserve National Champions in 1994 and went on to train American Quarter Horses professionally for seven years, primarily in North Carolina, Indiana and Florida, following graduation.

Eventually, Stacy began to miss her Kentucky roots and decided to trade farm for firm. She began her law career after settling down in Lexington. She graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2007 and it was here that Stacy met her husband and started her family. In 2016, Stacy relocated to Bowling Green so that her children could be closer to their extended families. Stacy is a proud member of the Hughes & Coleman family and works eagerly each and every day to get her clients exactly what they deserve.
