Evan grew up in Summertown, Tennessee. While both his parents worked in the medical field, Evan decided to pursue an alternate path into the field of law. His experience working for insurance defense firms gives him a unique perspective into his clients’ cases.
Evan graduated from University of Tennessee Knoxville with degrees in political science and history. His legal career began at Belmont University College of Law, where he served as the Vice President of the Health Law Society and graduated with a health law certificate in addition to his law degree.
During his last 2 years at Belmont, he served as a law clerk at a Nashville land use firm. After passing the Bar in 2018, his family moved to Chattanooga, where he worked for an insurance defense firm representing insurance companies in slip and fall, car accident, and workers’ compensation claims. After moving back to middle Tennessee, he began working at Hughes & Coleman, where his experience working on the defense side of cases offers him a unique perspective into his clients’ cases.
When not representing clients, Evan loves spending time with his wife Jennifer and their 2 children, Max and Maddie. He is an avid sports fan and loves cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers and Atlanta Braves.
