Matthew Gore

Matthew grew up in Hurricane, West Virginia. After high school, he attended West Virginia University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. He went on to pursue his Juris Doctor at West Virginia University.

Although he began his legal career as a defense attorney, he soon realized that he wanted to represent people instead of insurance companies. Seeing large insurance companies work hard to screw over injured people fueled Matthew’s desire to help people in their time of need.

As a Louisville personal injury lawyer, Matthew takes on a collaborative, client-centered approach. He spends time with each client to understand their story and their concerns as they go through the healing and recover process. With client communication as his top priority, Matthew believes that clients deserve to know what is happening in their case, why it’s happening, and what to expect next. Educating his clients on the legal process for personal injury claims helps Matthew and his clients make the right decisions to get them the compensation they deserve.

Matthew treats every case individually, knowing that analyzing the unique circumstances of each case can help him better fight for his clients. His clients are files or case numbers; they’re people, and Matthew strives to show them just how important they are.

His years of experience as a defense attorney gives him insider knowledge on how insurance companies work, how they evaluate cases, and the best methods for negotiation. When he’s not fighting to get his clients the compensation they deserve, Matthew volunteers at Shively Area Ministries, a local food bank in Louisville, Kentucky.
