How Did the Louisville Car Wreck Occur?
On the afternoon of March 5, 2023, D was travelling as a passenger in a vehicle in downtown Louisville, KY. With the sun shining bright and the day about to end, the vehicle D was a passenger in approached a stoplight in the left turn lane at the intersection of W. Broadway and S 29th Street. As the driver of D’s vehicle pulled into the intersection to make a left turn, a speeding motorcycle driving eastbound on W. The driver of the motorcycle misjudged his clearance, lost control of his bike, and struck the vehicle D was riding in on the right-side passenger door.
