How Can We Help?

Judy S. Brown

“I love practicing law and the great people I get to work with.  It makes me happy to be able to make a difficult situation a little easier for my clients.  They often feel just like family.”

Judy started her legal career representing automobile manufacturers, vaccine manufacturers, insurance companies and numerous corporations.  After being a pedestrian struck by a car and sustaining her own significant personal injury, Judy realized that she wanted to change the direction of her legal career and work directly with injured victims.  She initially worked only with legal situations involving children and has since expanded her focus to include all personal injuries.

During high school and college, Judy had the opportunity on several occasions to represent both the state of Kentucky and her university nationally.  While still in college, she was privileged to be selected to serve as a Congressional Intern in Washington, D.C., where she had her first experience with the law at its most formational level.  It was this experience that instilled a love of the law in Judy. Her time in Washington, D.C. led her desire to pursue law school following college.

While attending law school, Judy won recognition for her legal writing and spent her time involved in a variety of social and community causes. She extensively worked as a volunteer acute crisis counselor.  Judy now currently serves as a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Bowling Green/Warren County Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, Kentucky Justice Association and Louisiana Bar Association.

Judy’s legal career has covered multiple jurisdictions and been composed of a wide variety of practice areas including both automobile and medical product liability, seatbelt legislation, construction contracts, architect malpractice actions, insurance and surety matters, children’s interests, child support and custody matters, and father’s rights.   These matters were pursued in the three jurisdictions where Judy is licensed:  Kentucky, Tennessee, and Louisiana.  She has handled litigation in both state and federal courts.
